I believe healing is relational and paced.

Many of the clients I work with are exhausted from holding everything in, from judging themselves for their grief, from wondering why they cannot “move on,” from fearing their trauma defines them.

My work integrates EMDR with attachment-focused and relational therapy. I am direct but gentle. Honest but boundaried. I believe we can speak hard truths without shame.

I do not rush integration. I do not pathologize emotion. I treat your nervous system with respect.

Outside of therapy, I value depth, intellectual curiosity, and meaningful connection. I believe clients deserve autonomy, compassion, and the freedom to move at their own pace.

What it’s like to work with me

“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.” -Carl Rogers

I don’t ask my clients to do anything I’m not doing in my own life. This work is personal—and I live it. I believe good therapy comes from someone who’s not just trained in the theory but is actively tending to their own inner world. I’m committed to doing my own grief work, trauma healing, and growth so I can show up fully and honestly with you.

I’m not here to hand you a list of coping skills and send you on your way. We’re going deeper. Into the parts of your story that still feel raw, confusing, or stuck. Into the grief you were never given space to feel, the trauma that keeps looping in your body, or the shame that whispers you should have "gotten over it by now.”

The people I work best with usually have a few things in common:

  • They’re tired of repeating the same emotional patterns and want something more than surface-level fixes.

  • They’re willing to get uncomfortable if it means finally getting free.

  • They’re open to challenging the stories they’ve been living with. About themselves, about others, and about what healing is “supposed” to look like.

You don’t need to have it all figured out to start. You just need a willingness to show up, even a little unsure, and trust that something meaningful can happen here. I’ll meet you there—with honesty, care, and the tools to help you move through what’s been holding you back.

 My approach

If you’re reading this, you’re probably wondering what actually happens in therapy and what makes working with me different from every other trauma therapist out there.

Totally fair. Let’s talk about it.

In our work together, I draw from both person-centered and relational therapy perspectives, which complement each other in creating a space where you can feel truly heard, understood, and supported. What is important to remember throughout this process is that it’s not about fixing or forcing yourself to move on. It’s about making space to understand how these two experiences might be impacting you and working with them, rather than against them. Healing comes from learning to sit with both the grief and the trauma, understanding how they show up, and finding ways to navigate them in a way that doesn’t overwhelm you.

One of the most important things I can offer is a safe, non-judgmental space where you can express what you're going through. Whether it’s grief, trauma, or both. Sometimes, just having a place where you can feel heard and understood can be incredibly healing. I’ll help you explore the emotions and thoughts that come up, and we can work through them at a pace that feels right for you. There’s no rush or pressure here.

You’re in control of this process. I’ll walk beside you at a pace that feels right for you, whether that means taking small steps or diving deeper into the work when you're ready. There’s no pressure to move faster than you can manage. The healing process is unique to each person, and I’m here to support you, not rush you through it. Ultimately, my goal is to be a guide and a support as you process your grief and trauma. I’m here to listen, to help you make sense of your experience, and to offer the tools and insights that can support you on your path to healing. You don’t have to go through this alone—together, we can navigate it.
